For a small investment Go-Journal provides you with many rich features that will help you grow. Below you will find some key points you will receive with Go-Journal, but remember this is not a complete list.
UNLIMITED JOURNALS
With Go-Journal you have the ability to create as many journals as you desire. Create one for each year, each month or each day -- the choice is yours. Create one for each hobby, child, project, book or study -- the choice is yours!
Each new journal created will have the ability to use any pre-defined templates that come with Go-Journal or are purchased as an add-on.
Go-Journal templates have been created for many different categories and hobbies. There are templates that offer picture placeholders and fields for specific information. Also with these templates you will find space for description and notes. They are formatted in size so you will not be able to keep writing as this is not their intention.
Some templates that are available now are: Travel ~ Quilting ~ Inductive Study ~ Prayer
Projected templates are: National Parks ~ Scrapbook Layouts ~ Dream Interpretation ~ Quilting ~ Activity ~ Class Notes ~ and more. . .

GO-JOURNAL SECURITY
We take security seriously at Go-Journal. We do not want anyone browsing through your innermost thoughts or you new ideas. Go-Journal uses password and encryption protection that begins with the moment you sign-in. PLUS only 1 logged in writer at a time with your name/password.
We will be offering extended security for those who would like to password protect specific journal entries. Look for this added feature later this year. Please see our Privacy Policy for more detailed information.
JOURNAL EMAIL ENTRY FUNCTION
Go-Journal email entry function allows you to write in your journal from anywhere you happen to be. No need to visit Go'd Journal's site to make an entry. Send it from your phone. Send it from the library. Send it from anywhere you can send an email message!
JOURNAL ENTRY SCREEN
Go-Journal has a powerful word processor built into it. You can format your text as you would like it to be. You can also link to web pages inside your entries so you will always be able to navigate to a specific place. The word processor comes with a dictionary so that you can spell check your entry.
Print your entries for sharing or keeping a back-up hard copy. Standard templates have some formatting already done for you!
With Go-Journal you can also have us publish you journal as an eBook that you can place on your own website for sale or review. Look for our binding services later this year. Another option is you can create your own 'add-on' studies, patterns or books that can be sold through Go-Journal!
Another added benefit of our entry screen is that when you setup your journal you will be asked to enter a 'Start Date'. What this allows to happen is that when that journal is open you will see a list of all the entries made on those dates for easy access. You will be able to navigate through the pages effortlessly, making changes or just reviewing.
Go-Search is a advanced search engine that allows you to search through one, multiple or all journals in your system by specific criteria. All search fields can have single or multiple criteria.
Search fields include: Title ~ Topic ~ Word ~ Phrase ~ Classification ~ Date Range ~ Journal ~ Answered
There are also custom search fields available for you to purchase should your application require additional search parameters.
CLASSIFICATIONS
Classifications is unique to Go-Journal. It's a search tool that enables you to code certain words with a common search word.
For example: Paul is the person I want to search for but in some journals I may refer to Paul as brother, boyfriend, husband, etc.
So I would highlight the word(s) used in the journal and link it to the classification of Paul so that when I search all entries with that classification I will see all entries where that classification was highlight REGARDLESS of the word used in the journal.
This is a powerful tool that enables you to expand your searching and prompting capabilities instantly!
MULTI-VIEW
Go-Journal is written inside the web browser and multi-view allows you to open up multiple views without leaving Go-Journal. This becomes very powerful when search, closing and working allowing you to position each view where you would like to see them PLUS gives you the ability to automatically open up views side by side.
Another feature is that you can refresh a specific view without refreshing the entire program! This saves you time and keeps you writing.
Since multi-view is inside Go-Journal you won't have to worry about closing down journals you're working on while navigating through the Internet. Being self contained adds security and visibility without the confusion.
TOPIC/TITLES
Each time you save a journal entry you are saving the topic/title. This features allows us to make a Table of Contents when requested. We will use these fields when publishing your book as an eBook or a binding.
Also, each time you save a journal there are 4 date/time stamps to give you a complete audit trail of your entry. These dates ensure that Go-Journal will not loose any of your entries.
The date fields are: Date Saved ~ Date Changed ~ Date Printed ~ Date Viewed
Along with these date fields there is also a log that shows who did the saving, changing, printing or viewing. When we release the next version this will become important as you will be able to make each entry private or public. Public would allow others to view your entries. This feature will be available in the Advanced version.
EDUCATION VERSION
All schools will be able to purchase a classroom version of Go-Journal. When they register they will purchase a version that will allow the number of students that will be using the software. It is per classroom and not school.
The teacher will be able to view all journals written while the students will only be able to view their own entries UNLESS they choose to make an entry public. This feature will be available later this year.
Students who wish to have their own copy will receive a 40% discount off the purchase price. A copy of your student ID card will be required for this discount.

FAMILY VERSION
Family Version consists of 5 writers. Upgrading to additional writers is available.
Each member will be allowed to login BUT only a total of 5 logins (or # of writers purchased) will be allowed at any one time.
Each member will only be able to see their own journal entries. A parental password will be made available so that the parents or owner of the version may see all entries inside the members journals. Go-Journal will not monitor how this works and will not be held responsible.
INDIVIDUAL VERSION
Each version of Go-Journal will be for a single writer. Only 1 login will be permitted at any time. Should you forget to logout you will need to send an email for reset and this will take no longer than 24 hours to reset so it is important to remember to logout.
