How templates work is simple. An entry screen will come up for you to fill in the required fields. Once you have filled in the basic information the main input screen will appear with your information formatted on the screen for you. To change the formatted portion of the screen you will need to choose 'EDIT TEMPLATE' Icon to take you back to this initial screen. There will always be a space for free journal writing that is formatted by you.
There are many templates available for your Go-Journal application. Below you will be able to see their formatted forms.
Prayer Templates are a rich resource for seeing God working in your life and the lives of others. Keeping a prayer journal strengthens and builds your trust in our Faithful Savior. Psalm 37:3 tells us to dwell in the land (stay where we are) and cultivate (God's) faithfulness. Prayer journaling is a way to do this very thing. We can say God is Faithful but they tend to only be words unless we can see His Faithfulness!
You will receive 3 different templates with this package. Each template is formatted a little differently and will contain slightly different input fields and prompts. There will also be a prompt in the search and setup that will allow you to sort and view ALL REQUESTS, ANSWERED REQUESTS ONLY or NOT ANSWERED REQUESTS lists.
The Basic Prayer Template is just that. Date of the prayer ~ What the prayer request is ~ Date prayer was answered
This Prayer Template gives you more prompts to fill in more information like who the prayer is for, who asked you to pray, where you received the prayer request, how the prayer was answered.
This Prayer Template is specifically for Bible Study or Small Group settings. It give you a date range, a place to put the groups information and the above prayer information. A great tool for printing and handing out or emailing your group if your a leader!
TRAVEL TEMPLATES
A travel template will help you organize your thoughts as you travel. Whether it be a vacation or mission trip you can remember the important details that will assist you to write in further detail. These templates can be printed prior to travel for a simple booklet or you can type write into them while your traveling.
You will receive 4 different templates with this package. Each is formatted a little differently and will contain slightly different input fields with prompts. Templates are just a beginning for you. You will be able to change the formatting once you are finished entering in the date.

The Work Template is for those who need to keep a record of their activities for work purposes. You will have 1 picture placeholder and the information prompts are: place, place address/phone, date, time, purpose, people, notes, expense, information requested, information needed
INDUCTIVE TEMPLATES
The Inductive Bible Study method is a tool that will help you organize and understand selected verses of Scripture. We have included several different charts that will help you remember what you are to ask and look for. These templates are uses in many Bible Colleges across the country and there is a study guide for this method that you can also download.
You will receive 3 different templates with this package. Each is formatted a little differently and will contain slightly different input fields and prompts.
The basic Inductive Template is split into 4 columns with a header that allows you to enter your name, the bible passage and date. This will assist you when you need to find a specific inductive study that you've done.
The expanded Inductive Template helps you bring your information together with a summary section and notes at the bottom. that you will fill in when all your research and study has been done.
The Timothy Inductive Template gives you thought the four points found in II Timothy 3:16 that tells you all Scripture is inspired by God. The 4 points of Scripture fit perfectly into the Inductive method and helps you grow and learn how to apply all Scripture to these 4 principles. When you write down why Scripture is profitable you will be hiding it away in your heart!
